Meet Sydney
Sydney provides Early Intervention Services in Greenville County.
Hi! My name is Sydney and I was born and raised in Greenville, SC. I danced competitively for 16 years and now teach dance classes at the studio I grew up in. I love all things Jesus, Duke basketball, and Gamecock football! When I’m not at church or cheering on my teams, you’ll most likely find me at either a Mexican restaurant or TJ Maxx. I’ve always loved working with kids and am so thankful for Early Intervention and what it does for our families!
Background
Education:
B.A. in Public Health with a minor in Psychology from the University of South Carolina.
I’ve always had a passion for working with kids through babysitting, volunteering with my church’s kids ministry, and teaching dance classes. In high school I helped teach a dance class specifically for kiddos with special needs. This is where I fell in love working with these kids and knew this is what I was meant to do. This experience gave me the skills and understanding to best help these kiddos reach their goals. After graduating, I opened a smoothie shop where I had young adults with special needs work in the shop with me. While having my shop was a blessing, I shortly realized my true passion was serving kids and their families and Early Intervention allows me to do just that.
