Meet Sarah
Sarah provides Early Intervention Services in Anderson and Pickens Counties.
Hey! I'm Sarah, I was born and raised in Anderson, South Carolina. I am a proud mama to two amazing little girls, Charlie and Nora, and happily married to my best friend. Our home is always buzzing with love, laughter, and a little bit of chaos- thanks in part to our two furry sidekicks: George, our sassy tabby cat, and Zella, our energetic and lovable Dalmatian. In addition to my undergraduate degree in ABA I recently started a masters degree program in clinical mental health counseling. When I am not wrangling little feet, writing papers, or at work, you’ll probably find me tucked away with a paintbrush in hand or completely absorbed in a great book.
Background
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Psychology ABA
My heart has always been pulled toward helping little ones grow, connect, and thrive. My journey into this world was inspired by my amazing nephew, who is autistic. Watching him navigate the world in his own beautiful way opened my eyes and heart to the importance of early support, understanding, and meaningful connection.
That personal spark, paired with my desire to pursue a psychology related career, led me to pursue a degree in psychology majoring in applied behavioral analysis (ABA). I developed a strong foundation in evidence based strategies that help children build communication skills, social connections, and confidence. I am passionate about meeting each child exactly where they are and celebrating each tiny victory along the way-because those little wins are truly big moments. I believe early intervention is about creating trust, empowering families, and helping each child shine in their own unique way. .
