Meet Ruth

Ruth provides Early Intervention Services in Greenville County.

I grew up in Simpsonville, SC, and have always loved being surrounded by family! I have a large family and have loved having lots of young nieces and nephews around ever since I was 13 years old, whether we’re playing games, being silly, or just keeping up with their endless energy! When I’m not spending time with family, you might find me checking out  NASA’s site for new space pictures (I love astronomy) or taking any chance I can to go horseback riding. I love learning, adventuring, and making memories with my wonderful husband!

Background

Education:

  • Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Liberty University

I graduated with honors from Liberty University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about advocacy and research. I  spent time in Washington D.C. working on initiatives that support families and children. I volunteered in various settings, including hospitals, children’s camps, and a pregnancy center, where I provided child care during parenting classes. During my time volunteering with children, I discovered my love for working with children and supporting families. These experiences shaped my interest in supporting children and families through Early Intervention.
