Meet Katy
Katy provides Early Intervention Services in Anderson County.
Hiii!!! My name is Katy and I grew up in Lake Wylie, SC, right outside of Charlotte, NC. When I am not playing with my dog (a giant Great Pyrenees fur ball), I am watching Disney movies, working out, walking aimlessly around Target, thrifting, or spending time with my siblings. I love to stay active and am always looking for new ways to get outside! I am obsessed with my weighted dinosaurs from Target (Mario and Peaches) and am hoping to add to my collection! I am obsessed with all things bright and happy and am always in search of different, simple reminders to stay in a positive mindset throughout the day!
Background
Education:
B.A. in Human Development and Family Studies from Anderson University
I have always known that I wanted to work with children and their families in some form or facet. I jumped at any chance I had to work with children, whether that be babysitting, volunteering at VBS, or working at a daycare. Since attending school and studying Human Development, I was able to narrow my focus into child-centered practices and the Lord brought me to Tiny Feet! I was beyond excited to be able to offer support to children and their families and see growth in various areas.
Specialized Training:
BabyNet Part C Credential
First Aid & CPR Certified
Therapeutic Options Certified
