Meet Lauren

Lauren provides Early Intervention Services in Greenville County.

Hi! My name is Lauren Kamibayashiyama and I was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. I have been in Greenville, SC since 2018 while in college. I completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees at Bob Jones University. I moved officially to South Carolina in July of 2024. My hobbies include baking, reading, and playing volleyball. Two of my favorite things are coffee shops and traveling. I absolutely love coffee and a Lavender/Honey latte can make any day amazing. One thing about me is that I love food and absolutely love trying new and foreign foods, which is my favorite experience while traveling.

Education:

• Graduated from Bob Jones University with a B.S. in Educational Studies: Social Services with a minor in Psychology and a M.S. in Educational Leadership

From a young age I knew that I wanted to work with children in some capacity. As I grew up. I realized that while I still wanted to teach and work with children, I was not called to do that in a traditional classroom. This is why I completed my degree in Social Services. I developed a passion for young children while working at a daycare while in college. One reason I want to work in Early Intervention is because I believe that all children deserve to have the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed in all capacities.
