Meet Jennifer
Jennifer provides Early Intervention and Intake Services in Anderson County.
"I grew up in Toccoa, GA, a small town known for its college and 186-foot waterfall. I moved to Anderson in 2005, where my husband was born and raised. I have resided in the area with my husband and two kids ever since. I also have two fur babies.
When I’m not working, I enjoy hiking, fishing, traveling to new destinations, chasing waterfalls, and searching out gorgeous mountain views. To put it simply, I just love being outside and taking in the beauty of God’s creation. I also love going to my church in Easley, serving the kiddos there, and spending time with friends!"

Background:
"I’ve always had a passion for working with kiddos. From the time I was a teenager I’ve been working with kiddos in church, from watching them in the nursery, to teaching Pre-K Sunday School, to being an Awana’s teacher, to directing a children’s choir. Kids have always been my passion. After being a stay-at-home mom for about ten years, as my kids got older and in school, I decided it was time to get back into the workforce. I enrolled into classes at Tri-County Tech and earned my Associate’s Degree in Administrative Office Technology. This got my foot in the door. I immediately landed a great job as a Counseling secretary at a women’s prison in Georgia. I considered becoming a Counselor for incarcerated females, so I decided to go back to school. In 2017, while working full-time, I earned a Bachelor degree in Psychology. However, something kept telling me I needed to work with kids and families.. That’s when I decided to go to work at Greenville County DSS. As a Family Preservation caseworker, it was my job to keep families together while making sure the kiddos were safe and being well taken care of. After doing this for about three years, I knew I still wanted to do more. I didn’t want to just refer kiddos to services. I wanted to provide them services. I wanted to be a part of their growth! That’s what led me to Tiny Feet, and I have to say it’s the best decision I’ve made! I love serving kiddos, and I love serving their families! This was definitely the right move for me!”
