Meet Gillian
Gillian provides Early Intervention Services in Greenville County.
Hello! My name is Gillian, but I usually go by Jill. I’ve lived in many places and have worn many hats: educator, foster parent, caregiver, legal assistant–but my favorite locale was New Orleans. While there, I worked as a teacher and an adoption liaison, but my most memorable experiences in that city revolved around parades. I was a costume and float designer, parade planner and fundraiser. I belonged to a few krewes, and in 2015 I was the queen of a Mardi Gras parade! I consider it a great honor to be pictured in the book Weird Louisiana. Those were awesome times, and while my life here in the upstate is quite different, I have enjoyed quality time with family and continue to be excited to be a part of this amazing team. I have six nieces and nephews in Simpsonville who keep me busy: attending all the sports games, staying up-to-date on the latest Marvel superheroes, creating costumes for school events, and making friendship bracelets.
