Meet Erin

Erin provides Early Intervention Services in Anderson and Pickens Counties.

Greetings! I'm Erin Wilson, and I'm eager to connect with the community through my work at Tiny Feet EI, providing Early Intervention Services in Anderson and Pickens Counties. Family is incredibly important to me; I'm married to a career veteran, and we're raising a remarkable 16-year-old son. Our home is lively with our five beloved pets: two dogs, Sugar and Cinnamon, and three cats, Ninja, Knouchi, and Zuke. I'm an energetic and direct person, and I believe in the power of understanding and embracing diverse perspectives.

Background

Education:

My educational journey reflects my dedication to learning and growth. I hold an Interdisciplinary BA in Education and Psychology, providing a strong foundation in both developmental and pedagogical principles. I furthered my studies with an Interdisciplinary MA in Education and Life Coaching, enhancing my ability to support and empower individuals. I also earned an EdS in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Special Needs, equipping me with specialized knowledge and skills to meet diverse learning needs. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Organizational Leadership with a focus in Education, demonstrating my ongoing commitment to professional development and leadership in the field.

My professional background is rooted in education and entrepreneurship, including owning a martial arts school. I wanted to work in early intervention because I believe that everyone has potential and was made for a purpose. I want to be a support for the families we serve to reach their full potential. I was fortunate to have had someone in my very young childhood who helped me, and I want to pay that forward. I have worked with children with special needs in an instructor role since I was 10, tutoring students after school, and I have worked with families with children with special needs, helping them navigate the new world they have found themselves in within the special needs community.
