Meet Erin

I was born and raised in Greer before moving to Spartanburg for college and quickly calling it my next home! I live at home with my dog and two cats- Nala, Ralphie, and Winnie. When I am not working, you will find me trying recipes in the kitchen or spending time with family and friends.
Background
Education:
B.A in Comprehensive Special Education from Converse College
M.Ed in Administration and Supervision from Converse College
I attended Converse College and received my teaching degree in Comprehensive Special Education. I worked as a self-contained teacher for students with intellectual disabilities for 6 years, during which time I helped start a student-led enterprise and obtained my Masters in Administration and Supervision. One of my favorite things about teaching was the opportunity to reach my students in the classroom and at home through family interactions and encouragement. I continued my educational career as a Special Needs Administrator before realizing I missed the hands-on connections with families I was graced to work with. As an EI, I am here to support and encourage not only a child, but the families to best prepare for their future, starting with right here and right now.
