Meet Emily

Emily provides Early Intervention Services in Spartanburg County.

My name is Emily Timms and I’m from Spartanburg, SC. A few fun facts about me are that I grew up in Spartanburg and have lived here pretty much my whole life , where I played many sports including gymnastics, soccer, and volleyball.. I fell in love with the atmosphere and game of volleyball and played throughout high school and in college. I enjoy being active and like to hike and find new ways to explore and adventure onto new trails, or try new hobbies and sports. Currently my newest hobby is surfing!

Education:

• University of South Carolina Upstate,  BA Child Development and Family Studies, Concentration in Child Advocacy.

I have over 10 years of experience working various employment opportunities with children and families. I have learned the most from my own experience as well as understanding the importance of early intervention services, as being diagnosed with ADHD, Information Processing Disorder, and Dyscalcia. I understand the importance of being seen, heard and truly believe that Early Intervention has the ability to change lives and alter a whole new trajectory for your family and child.
